Design Study
You are invited to participate in a short visualization study about how people compare values in part-to-whole charts. The study includes a visual literacy test, a brief tutorial, and chart-reading trials. Your responses, accuracy, response time, and confidence ratings will be recorded for analysis.
Identify or rank the largest categories in pie charts and waffle charts.
The full prototype contains 63 study trials plus setup sections.
Risk is minimal and similar to ordinary computer-based survey activity.

In simple trials with three categories, rank all categories from largest to smallest. In medium and difficult trials, select the three largest categories in order. Some charts are sorted and others are intentionally shuffled.
